Democracy Prep’s Jaden Redding scored 15 points to lead the Blue Knights to a 72-59 victory over Mojave on Wednesday. Lennox Grayson, a senior at Legacy, poured in 19 points as the Longhorns rolled past Bonanza 90-43. Foothill’s Reece Velasco knocked down six 3-pointers and finished with 22 points in the Falcons’ 91-31 win over Cadence.

Girls basketball

Coral Academy’s Bella Robinson posted 23 points in a 50-43 win over Moapa Valley. Foothill’s Elia Glover scored 10 points as the Falcons defeated Cadence 59-11.

Boys bowling

Arbor View’s Ezekiel Trejo advanced to the Class 4A individual state championship match with back-to-back 300 games, defeating Sierra Vista’s Xander Corral 600-474 in the semifinals. In 5A semifinals, Palo Verde’s Cheuk Him Lee beat Foothill’s Andrew Thompson 498-404, and Coronado’s Michael Sims topped Liberty’s Gyrus Alo 485-409. In other 4A semifinal action, Basic’s Gavin Fernandez defeated Mojave’s Ronin Fua 444-319.
