Bishop Gorman claimed its 10th baseball state championship Saturday, defeating Bishop Manogue 5-3 in the Class 5A final at Las Vegas High School. The Gaels finished the season 32-6, while Manogue ended at 30-10.
The title ties Gorman for the second-most in Nevada history. The program’s 10 championships put it behind only the all-time leader.
