Tuesday’s high school basketball and flag football action featured standout individual performances across Southern Nevada.
Girls basketball
Sariyah Johnson, a sophomore at Las Vegas, delivered a dominant double-double with 33 points and 22 rebounds, adding four assists and two blocks to lead the Wildcats to a 64-35 win over Rancho.
Donnayja Gibson, a senior at Sierra Vista, scored 27 points as the Mountain Lions defeated Desert Oasis 60-48. Sunrise Mountain senior Delyla Ross poured in 25 points in a 66-20 victory over Eldorado. Losee senior Jayla Lewis scored 21 points, including 12 in the first quarter, as the Lions routed Chaparral 75-12. Del Sol sophomore Sabrina Stewart had 18 points, five assists, five steals and three rebounds in a 59-18 win over Silverado.
Boys basketball
Green Valley junior Ethan Keith scored 21 points to lead the Gators past SLAM! Nevada 62-47.
Flag football
Clark freshman Cassiah Banks caught six passes for 109 yards and a touchdown in a 9-7 triple-overtime win over Bonanza. Durango senior Leiah Bisococho completed 13 passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-16 victory over Western. Cadence senior Leyton Gasperosky passed for 254 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score in a 38-7 win against Chaparral. Centennial junior Andrea Mitchell had 14 tackles in a 32-6 win over Cheyenne. Rancho junior Marian Moreno returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown to seal a 19-6 victory over Valley.
