The Las Vegas Raiders parted ways with former first-round pick Tyree Wilson on Saturday, sending the defensive end to the New Orleans Saints as the NFL draft concluded.
The trade came after the Raiders made 10 selections over the three-day draft, including cornerback Jermod McCoy in the later rounds. Wilson, the No. 7 overall pick in 2023, struggled to make an impact over three seasons with the team.
Raiders vice president of player personnel Brandon Hunt and director of college scouting Brandon Yeargan addressed the media after the final round, discussing the draft class and the decision to move on from Wilson.
