Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs closed the sale of his Southern Highlands home on Dec. 31 for $4.7 million, a $1.3 million discount from its November listing price of $6 million. The custom-built home at 1 Olympia Canyon Way never became his residence.
According to listing agent James Meadows of Berkshire Hathaway, Jacobs never lived in the 5,534-square-foot, single-story home despite its custom design. The COVID-19 pandemic delayed construction, and by the time it was ready, the Raiders did not pick up his contract. Jacobs signed a four-year, $48 million deal with the Packers in 2024.
Meadows noted that Jacobs, who experienced homelessness as a youth, purchased the home as his first property. The home sits on almost an acre in the Augusta Canyon Estates subdivision, featuring three bedrooms and four bathrooms.
The property includes a restaurant-grade kitchen, temperature-controlled wine wall, wet bar, media room, six-car gallery garage, and a dedicated sports area. Outdoors, there is a resort-style backyard with a pool and spa with two Baja decks, a built-in grill, covered patio, and another sports court.
