Amelia McClerkin and Madison Castellon each crushed a grand slam Monday as Legacy ran away from Silverado 14-4 in a 4A softball matchup at Legacy High School.

McClerkin finished 2-for-3 with two home runs and five RBIs. Castellon also went 2-for-3 and drove in four runs with her bases-clearing blast.

The Longhorns improved to 14-8 overall. Silverado dropped to 9-5.

Legacy hosts Rancho at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Silverado hosts Chaparral at 11 a.m. Saturday.
