Centennial safety Maxwell Miles picks Michigan over 16 other offers

Centennial High School junior safety Maxwell Miles has committed to the University of Michigan, he announced Wednesday on social media. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound three-star recruit chose the Wolverines from a list of 17 Division I offers that included Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and UNLV.

Miles, ranked by 247Sports as the No. 6 recruit in Nevada’s 2027 class, visited Michigan’s campus Saturday and received an offer afterward. He recorded 77 tackles and six interceptions last season, earning Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada second-team honors and helping the Bulldogs reach the Class 5A Southern Region title game.
