The 2026 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada boys wrestling team is headlined by SLAM! Nevada, which placed 11 wrestlers on the first and second teams after a dominant season. The team, revealed Wednesday, recognizes the top performers from across the region.
SLAM! Nevada seniors Brenden Agcaoili (130 pounds) and Drake Hooiman (150 pounds) each won their fourth state titles, with Agcaoili committing to North Dakota State and Hooiman to Purdue. Freshmen Vander Tran (106 pounds) and Kash Moore (113 pounds) also made the first team, with Tran winning a state title and Moore finishing as runner-up.
Other first-team standouts include Faith Lutheran senior Caden Cook, who won his third straight state title at 144 pounds, and Moapa Valley senior Morris Wolfley, who claimed his third consecutive 3A crown at 126 pounds. Sunrise Mountain junior Roman Pulefaasisina took the 4A state title at 285 pounds.
Coronado coach Irais Pineda was named Coach of the Year after guiding the Cougars to the 4A team state championship, the school’s first boys wrestling team title. Coronado also placed two wrestlers on the second team: senior Vaughn Geisendorf (132 pounds) and sophomore Ryder Siegfried (190 pounds), both state champions.
The second team includes 18 wrestlers, highlighted by 3A champions Caleb Anderson (Moapa Valley, 138 pounds), Iyan Bosket (Pahrump Valley, 215 pounds), and Stetson Houston (Moapa Valley, 132 pounds), as well as 4A champions Adrian Camarena (Eldorado, 120 pounds), Khy’ree Hines (Legacy, 138 pounds), and Nico LaRacco (Desert Pines, 170 pounds).
Honorable mention selections include 41 wrestlers from schools across Southern Nevada.
