Foothill junior Quinthus Mason drove in three runs with two home runs to lead the Falcons to a 7-0 baseball victory over Clark on Friday.
Tech senior Lucas Jaggers also homered and added a triple and two RBIs in an 8-3 win over Bonanza. Las Vegas senior Hunter Iverson doubled and tripled with an RBI in a 5-0 shutout of Rancho.
Basic senior Troy Southisene went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, but the Wolves lost 6-3 to Temecula Valley (Calif.) in tournament play. Cheyenne senior Taven Thaker went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and earned the win on the mound in a 14-2 six-inning rout of SLAM! Nevada.
In softball, Spring Valley junior Cheyenne Davis-Stephens went 3-for-3 with a double, triple and three RBIs in a 10-0 four-inning win over Canyon Springs. Legacy freshman Sophie Gibson went 2-for-2 with two RBIs as the Longhorns scored 15 runs in the first inning of an 18-7 tournament victory over Altamont (Utah). Boulder City senior Payton Rogers hit two home runs and drove in five runs in an 8-3 tournament win over Hillcrest (Utah).
In boys volleyball, Durango senior Ethen Natanel had 14 assists and seven digs to help the Trailblazers beat Cheyenne 21-25, 25-16, 15-9.
