New Raiders Quay Walker, Tyler Linderbaum eager to play alongside Maxx Crosby

The Las Vegas Raiders officially welcomed four free-agent signings Thursday morning at the Intermountain Health Performance Center in Henderson: center Tyler Linderbaum, wide receiver Jalen Nailor, defensive end Kwity Paye and linebacker Quay Walker.

All four players expressed excitement about the possibility of lining up with star defensive end Maxx Crosby, whose future with the team has been the subject of trade speculation. Linderbaum, who previously faced Crosby as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, said he would welcome the opportunity to have Crosby as a teammate rather than an opponent.

“Obviously, I would love Max to be here and play with him,” Linderbaum said. “I’ve gone against him. He’s not fun to go against. You know, we have to scout him. And his ability to lead a team is pretty special. So, excited to be on his team.”

Walker, who signed after four seasons with the Green Bay Packers, said he has already spoken with Crosby and believes the defense will benefit from having both Crosby and Paye on the edge.

“It’s a lot to do knowing that, having him and Kwity (Paye), the ball probably going to come out fast. So it kind of helps us on the back end, I’ll say, versus the run as well,” Walker said. “Those are two guys that can do a lot, especially with (Crosby). His athleticism is so much that he can do and intensity that he plays with. Honestly, I just love his play style and I can’t wait to play alongside him. Honestly, just to match his energy day in and day out. That’s all I got to say. I think Maxx Crosby, his name and his play speak for itself.”

Paye, a pass rusher who spent his first four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, echoed the sentiment.

“It’s going to be crazy just seeing him pursue,” Paye said.

Linderbaum, who played center for the Ravens from 2022 to 2025, said he believes the Raiders are building a winning culture under general manager John Spytek.

“It already feels like home,” Linderbaum said. “(We have the) right people to turn this thing around.”

Nailor, a Bishop Gorman High School alum, called his return to Las Vegas a blessing.

“It means the most to me,” Nailor said. “I’ve got tons of connections here … just people I know growing up. It’s just a blessing to be here.”

Walker also expressed confidence in new defensive coordinator Rob Leonard’s system, calling himself a “perfect fit.”

“I think he’s going to use me the right way,” Walker said.
