The Mountain West women’s basketball tournament reaches the semifinal stage Monday at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, with two games determining who plays for the conference title and an automatic NCAA Tournament bid.
The nightcap features No. 2 seed UNLV against No. 3 Colorado State at 7:30 p.m. Both teams advanced from Sunday’s quarterfinals: UNLV defeated Fresno State, while Colorado State edged Grand Canyon in a close contest.
The first semifinal tips off at 5 p.m. with No. 5 Boise State facing No. 9 Air Force. Air Force pulled the tournament’s biggest upset by knocking off top-seeded San Diego State in the quarterfinals. Boise State advanced with a one-point win over New Mexico.
Both semifinal games will be streamed free on the Mountain West Network, available through TheMW.com and the Mountain West app. The championship game Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Single-session tickets for Monday’s semifinals are available through the Mountain West tournament portal, with one ticket granting entry to both games.
