The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels are set to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The game will air on ESPNU.
UNLV advanced with a 75–72 road victory over UC Irvine in the first round, continuing their late-season surge. The Rebels finished the regular season below the NCAA Tournament cutoff but earned an NIT bid under first-year head coach Josh Pastner. This marks their second NIT appearance in three years.
Tulsa, the higher seed, comes off an overtime win against Stephen F. Austin in its opener. The Golden Hurricane have won seven of their last eight games and are strong at home, posing a tough challenge for UNLV.
The winner moves to the NIT quarterfinals in the single-elimination tournament.
