The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels kick off their postseason run Wednesday as the No. 8 seed in the Mountain West men’s basketball tournament, hosting the No. 9 Wyoming Cowboys at the Thomas & Mack Center. Tipoff is set for noon.
The Rebels enter the tournament with a 16-15 overall record and an 11-9 mark in conference play. Wyoming, meanwhile, brings a 98-66 win over UNLV from their Jan. 6 meeting in Laramie into the matchup.
Wednesday’s game will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network, available for streaming through the conference’s digital platforms. Radio coverage is available on the UNLV radio network and the Varsity Network app.
The winner advances to Thursday’s quarterfinals to face regular-season champion Utah State.
