Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson kicked off her European tour with Nike Basketball on Monday night, unveiling the A’Two — her second signature sneaker — in Paris. The shoe, which launches May 2 alongside a full apparel line, builds on the foundation of the A’One, which sold out in minutes last May.
The A’Two features a molded synthetic leather upper, replacing the mesh of its predecessor, along with Zoom Air cushioning for energy return and a reinforced heel counter for stability. Like the A’One, the initial release will be in pink, with additional colorways to follow.
“For the A’One, we were starting fresh. We were trying to figure it out,” Wilson told the Review-Journal. “This time was very different.”

Lead shoe designer London Johnson called the A’Two “a graduation from the A’One” and said the goal was to “come back bigger and better.” Wilson noted that the A’Two will be customizable through Nike By You, allowing fans to create their own colorways. “Now people can really create their own colorways and stop aggravating me about mine,” she joked.
The A’One’s design was inspired by a clamshell, honoring a pearl necklace from Wilson’s late grandmother, Hattie Rakes. The A’Two retains those pearl motifs while incorporating feedback on sizing and support.
Nike’s tour, dubbed “The A’ja Wilson Show,” will take Wilson to London, Berlin, and Hilversum, Netherlands, after Paris. Wilson, who last season became the only player in WNBA history to win a scoring title, championship, Finals MVP, regular-season MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year in a single season, said she brought trainers to prepare for the upcoming season. “The work is still going on,” Wilson said. “Because if I don’t perform well, we won’t be talking about a shoe. So I still have to do my main job.”
Wilson is traveling with her parents, Eva Rakes Wilson and Roscoe Wilson. “They’ve obviously been along for the whole journey, but to be able to now see their daughter become like, worldwide, it’s pretty cool,” she said.
