A’s Fan Fest Set for Saturday Ahead of Spring Games in Summerlin

The Athletics are bringing a free fan festival to Downtown Summerlin on Saturday morning before their Big League Weekend exhibition games against the Los Angeles Angels. The event, dubbed the Big League Weekend Bash, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes A’s alumni appearances, a speed pitch station, a live DJ, face painters, and balloon artists, with the A’s Cast broadcasting live on site.

Following the fan fest, the A’s and Angels will face off at Las Vegas Ballpark at 1:05 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. This spring series marks a milestone for the franchise, which will play its first regular-season games in Las Vegas this June. The A’s are scheduled to host the Milwaukee Brewers from June 8-10 and the Colorado Rockies from June 12-14 at the same ballpark.

On Sunday, the A’s will also host a Pitch, Hit and Run event at Desert Breeze Park from 10 to 11 a.m. for youth baseball players in Southern Nevada. Participants will compete in MLB’s official skills competition, testing pitching, hitting, and running abilities. Registration is available at PitchHitRun2026.leagueapps.com.

Throughout the week, A’s players and staff are engaging with the community, supporting Nevada Reading Week and participating in multiple Little League Opening Day events.
