UNLV Rebels to Welcome North Dakota State in 2026 Mountain West Opener

The Mountain West Conference released its updated 2026 football schedule, revealing the league matchups for its newest members. Among them, North Dakota State will play its first conference season as a football-only member after joining earlier this month.

The Bison, winners of 10 of the last 15 FCS national championships, will travel to Allegiant Stadium to face UNLV in one of their four road conference games. Each of the 10 football-playing schools will play four home and four away league contests over a 13-week schedule, culminating in the Mountain West championship game.

UNLV’s conference home slate also includes UNR, Wyoming, and Northern Illinois. The Rebels will travel to Air Force, Hawaii, New Mexico, and San Jose State. Specific dates and times for league games have yet to be announced.

In nonconference action, UNLV hosts Memphis on Aug. 29 and Cal on Oct. 3, while visiting North Texas on Sept. 12 and Akron on Sept. 26.
