In a tightly contested 5A wrestling match Tuesday night at Centennial High School, the Bulldogs defeated Green Valley 35-29. The dual featured several competitive bouts and a forfeit that proved decisive.

Centennial’s Braiden Foster took on Green Valley’s Jason Wehren in one of the early matches. Green Valley’s Marcus Leal faced Centennial’s Heath Smith, and Treyzten Gabrillo wrestled Cruz Rios. Other matchups included Elias Montiel vs. Isaac Danielson, Elijah Paddock vs. Isaiah Rabago-Ibana, Joshua Huslig vs. David Chapla, and Cameron Barboza vs. David Castro in two meetings. Eduardo De Posada Campos competed against Gavin Austin, Armando Ramos against Jaden Crutchley, Matthew Stosek against Caleb Chargualaf, and Daniel Leal against Joseph Dacko. Clayton Floyd of Green Valley won via forfeit. Lorenzo Dukes and Angel Arguello also wrestled.
