The Las Vegas Raiders have signed linebacker Segun Olubi, a four-year veteran who made his mark primarily on special teams with the Indianapolis Colts. The move, announced Monday, adds depth to a position group that has seen several additions this offseason.
Olubi, who grew up partly in Bullhead City, Arizona, played all 17 games for the Colts last season and recorded 11 special teams tackles along with a forced fumble. He was one of just 13 NFL players to reach double-digit special teams tackles and force a fumble in 2025.
His most notable moment against the Raiders came when he blocked a punt during Indianapolis’s game in Las Vegas, an action that led to an ankle injury for Raiders punter AJ Cole. Olubi saw only six defensive snaps last year, underscoring his role as a core special teamer.
After finishing his college career at San Diego State, Olubi spent four seasons with the Colts. The Raiders are expected to use him primarily on coverage units as they continue reshaping their roster under new leadership.
