Raiders Sign DE Kwity Paye to Three-Year, $48M Deal

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to terms with former Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kwity Paye, the team announced Monday. The deal is worth $48 million over three years with $32 million guaranteed, though it cannot be finalized until the new league year begins Wednesday.

Paye, a first-round pick in 2021 out of Michigan, recorded 30.5 sacks over five seasons with the Colts. He is expected to help replace the production lost when the Raiders traded All-Pro defensive end Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens last week.

The Raiders have been among the most aggressive teams on the opening day of free agency, agreeing to terms with three external free agents and re-signing starting cornerback Eric Stokes. Paye’s addition addresses a critical need on the edge of the defensive line.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
