The Las Vegas Raiders have re-signed starting cornerback Eric Stokes to a three-year, $30 million contract, securing one of their few bright spots from a 3-14 season. The deal, announced Monday, keeps Stokes in silver and black after he emerged as a reliable starter in 2025.
General manager John Spytek had signaled during the NFL combine that retaining Stokes was a priority. “We got a close look at him last season and saw what he can do,” Spytek said. Stokes, who stayed healthy and played at a high level, was one of the team’s most pleasant surprises despite the Raiders’ overall struggles.
The $30 million figure represents a reasonable investment for both sides, signaling that Stokes believes in the direction of the franchise. The Raiders opened free agency by keeping one of their top defensive players in the building.
