Raiders land local star Jalen Nailor on $35M deal

The Las Vegas Raiders continued their aggressive free-agent spending Monday, agreeing to terms with wide receiver Jalen Nailor on a three-year contract worth $35 million with $23 million guaranteed.

Nailor, a Bishop Gorman High School graduate, returns to his hometown after three seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. The 26-year-old was a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Michigan State.

In his NFL career, Nailor has recorded 69 receptions for 1,066 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Raiders entered free agency with nearly $120 million in cap space, the most in the league. They have also secured center Tyler Linderbaum, the top offensive lineman on the market, and re-signed cornerback Eric Stokes.

Contracts cannot be officially signed until the new league year begins Wednesday, but negotiations opened at 9 a.m. Monday.
