Two of Las Vegas’ top sports executives shared their playbooks for winning both on and off the field Friday during a panel at Preview Las Vegas at the Wynn. Raiders president Sandra Douglass Morgan and Aces president Nikki Fargas discussed the unique synergy between the NFL and WNBA franchises, both owned by Mark Davis.
Douglass Morgan highlighted Allegiant Stadium’s financial success, noting it was named the highest-grossing stadium in the U.S. and second worldwide by Billboard Magazine, despite the Raiders’ 3-14 record last season. The 5-year-old venue drew 846,531 fans to 30 events through November 2025, generating $179 million in gaming and $123 million in hotel revenue, according to the team’s annual Impact Playbook.
“Just very proud of our team and what we’ve been able to do to have the highest-grossing stadium for two of the last four years is incredible,” Douglass Morgan said. “Being able to sell out 10 Raider games and having things, you know, 365/24/7 throughout the year is incredible. It helps the Raiders’ brand. It helps our community. It helps the state of Nevada. So, we’re really proud of it.”
With the Raiders holding the No. 1 pick in April’s NFL draft and Heisman-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza potentially joining the team, Douglass Morgan acknowledged that on-field success would boost home-field advantage. Currently, crowds at Allegiant are often more than 50% opposing fans. “Winning always helps,” she said. “I’m really glad to get to know our general manager, John Spytek, over this last season and his vision.”
Meanwhile, the Aces are riding high as three-time WNBA champions in four years. Fargas credited Davis’ investment, including the league’s first dedicated practice facility. “With Mr. Davis’ commitment in building a state-of-the-art facility where these women can play, can practice, can train, can rehab, can get better; the offseason, that’s where really championships are won,” Fargas said.
Fargas noted the Raiders have mentored the Aces on community engagement and operations. She praised Douglass Morgan for her courtside support at Aces games. “She’s always at the Aces games. You’ll see her sideline getting on the officials as well,” Fargas said. “That speaks a lot as well when we have Sandra Douglass (Morgan) sitting courtside rooting for the Aces.”
