Patriots backer puts $1.1M on Super Bowl 60 money line at Circa

A high-stakes bettor at Circa Sports has placed a $1.1 million wager on the New England Patriots to win Super Bowl 60 outright, backing the underdog at +188 odds. The bet, which would pay nearly $2.1 million, moved the Patriots’ money line from +188 to +180 at Circa, while the Seattle Seahawks shifted to -210.

The Seahawks remain 4½-point favorites for the Feb. 8 game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The consensus total has dropped from 46½ to 46.

No $1 million bets were reported on last year’s Super Bowl between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs.

Before the season, another Circa bettor risked $100 on a Super Bowl exacta of the Patriots beating the Seahawks at 3,100-1 odds, a bet that would pay $310,000, according to Circa Sports director of operations Jeff Benson.
