Las Vegas high school bowling powers Liberty and Shadow Ridge both posted dominant wins Friday at The Orleans Bowling Center, as several of the top Class 5A teams converged for a busy afternoon of competition.

Liberty swept Centennial in both boys and girls matches, with each winning 9-0. The Patriots’ Peyton Manning and Meleah Carrillo were among those competing for Liberty.

Shadow Ridge also swept its dual against Coronado. The Mustangs boys won 9-0, while the girls prevailed 7-2. Shadow Ridge’s lineup included Briggs Robison, Zachary Hardy, Vincenzo Cruzate, Pablo Ypina, John Pitts, and Trevyn Weber.

In the day’s closest contest, Desert Oasis and Foothill split. The Desert Oasis girls won 9-0, and the Foothill boys edged out a 5-4 victory.
