The Las Vegas Raiders slipped from fourth to seventh overall in the annual NFLPA franchise report cards, largely due to an F grade for the offensive coordinator position, a role held by Chip Kelly until his firing in November.
The survey, conducted from Nov. 2 to Dec. 11, also gave coach Pete Carroll a C+ and the position coaches a C+. Defensive coordinator Patrick Graham received a C, and special teams coordinator Tom McMahon, also fired in November, got a C-.
Owner Mark Davis earned an A, and general manager John Spytek received an A-. The Raiders earned no lower than a B in any other category, with the weight room receiving the only A+.
This is the fourth year of the NFLPA report cards, which survey players about various aspects of their organization. The reports are no longer officially released by the NFLPA after an arbitrator ruled they violated the collective bargaining agreement by disparaging clubs and individuals.
The Raiders improved in treatment of families from a B+ last season to an A this year, and received an A- in the new home field grade category.
