Bishop Gorman’s football program will welcome California powerhouse St. John Bosco to Fertitta Field on Aug. 21, 2026, marking the first meeting between the two elite programs since 2016. The matchup was revealed through St. John Bosco’s 2026 schedule posted on social media; no kickoff time has been announced, and Gorman has not yet released its full 2026 slate.

When they last met, Gorman defeated St. John Bosco 35-20 on Sept. 9, 2016, in California, a victory that helped propel the Gaels to their third consecutive mythical national championship. Both teams are coming off strong 2025 seasons: Gorman finished 11-1 and ranked No. 2 in USA Today’s Super 25 final rankings, while St. John Bosco ended at No. 14.
