WrestleMania 41 and Canelo-Crawford pumped $626M into Vegas economy

TKO Group Holdings reported Wednesday that WrestleMania 41 and the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez-Terence Crawford boxing match collectively generated $626 million in economic impact for Las Vegas last year.

WrestleMania 41, held April 19-20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium, attracted a two-day announced attendance of 124,693. The event produced $322 million in total economic output, supported 2,635 local jobs, and contributed $123 million in salaries and wages. TKO and visitor spending taxes amounted to $17.3 million. Of the attendees, 90 percent were from outside the Las Vegas area, and 22 percent traveled internationally.

The Alvarez-Crawford bout on Sept. 13, 2025, drew an announced crowd of 70,482, making it the most attended boxing match in Nevada history. It generated nearly $304 million in economic impact, supported 1,335 jobs, and resulted in $73.8 million in wages and $15.8 million in taxes. Nearly 96 percent of fans were non-local, with 10 percent coming from abroad.

Steve Hill, president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, said in a statement: “The findings confirm what we saw firsthand: These were both extraordinarily impactful events for Las Vegas. More than a successful fight night and WrestleMania spectacle, these were true destination drivers that compelled fans to travel here for the experience. The results for both events were exceptional, reinforcing both Las Vegas’ position as a premier global stage for major moments and the powerhouse entertainment that TKO produces.”

The economic and visitor report was compiled by Las Vegas-based Applied Analysis for TKO. The LVCVA sponsored WrestleMania 41 for $5 million and Alvarez-Crawford for $500,000. WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for this weekend at Allegiant Stadium with a $6 million sponsorship from LVCVA.
