The Vegas Golden Knights begin their quest for a second Stanley Cup title Sunday night when they host the Utah Mammoth in Game 1 of the Western Conference first round. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT at T-Mobile Arena.
This marks the first playoff appearance for the Mammoth franchise and the eighth in nine seasons for Vegas, who secured home-ice advantage by winning the Pacific Division.
How to watch
Game 1 will be broadcast locally on KMCC (Ch. 34) via Scripps Sports and nationally on ESPN, though the national feed will be blacked out in the Las Vegas market. Streaming options include the ESPN app, ESPN+, and TV provider services such as DIRECTV.
For cord-cutters in Southern Nevada, the game is available over the air on Vegas 34. All first-round games will air across the team’s regional footprint on Scripps Sports platforms.
Series schedule
The best-of-seven series continues Tuesday with Game 2 in Las Vegas before shifting to Utah later in the week. The Golden Knights enter as the top seed in the Pacific Division, while Utah makes its postseason debut.
Game 1 is part of a full Sunday slate as multiple first-round series begin across the NHL.
