Three-star Liberty running back Ezra Sanelivi committed to BYU on Wednesday, choosing the Cougars over offers from Wisconsin, Washington, Arkansas, Arizona and Oregon State.
Sanelivi, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound junior, is ranked as Nevada’s No. 9 class of 2027 prospect by 247Sports. He rushed for 745 yards and 10 touchdowns in eight games this past season, earning 5A Lake League offensive player of the year honors and his second consecutive first-team All-Southern Nevada selection.
“I felt at home at BYU and the coaching staff made it an easy decision,” Sanelivi said in his commitment post. The running back becomes the second Liberty player to commit to a Power Four program this cycle.
