The Vegas Golden Knights will open their first-round playoff series against the Utah Mammoth on home ice Sunday, and the local broadcast team is locked in for at least the first four games.
KMCC (Vegas 34) will carry Game 1 at 7 p.m. Sunday, with Dave Goucher on play-by-play, Shane Hnidy as analyst, and Ashali Vise reporting from rinkside. The game will not be available on ESPN within the Knights’ television territory.
For fans outside that territory, the series can be seen on ESPN or TNT in the U.S., and on Sportsnet or TVA in Canada. Game 2 on Tuesday will air on ESPN2, Game 3 on Friday in Utah will be on TBS, and Game 4 will return to ESPN. The broadcast networks for any additional games will be announced later.
If the Knights advance past the first round, their games will shift to the ESPN family of networks or TNT. TNT and TBS together will air up to 49 playoff games. ABC will also carry select contests, and ESPN has exclusive coverage of the Stanley Cup Final in June.
