Golden Knights Open Playoff Series Against Mammoth on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena

The Vegas Golden Knights will host the Utah Mammoth in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series on Sunday at 7 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena, the league announced Thursday. The Knights earned home-ice advantage by clinching the Pacific Division title with a 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday.

Game 2 follows Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., also at T-Mobile Arena. The series then shifts to Salt Lake City for Game 3 on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Delta Center. Game 4 is scheduled for April 27 at a time to be determined, with Games 5 through 7 possible if needed.

This marks the first playoff meeting between two of the NHL’s newest franchises. The Mammoth, in their second season after relocating from Arizona, secured the Western Conference’s first wild card and finished fourth in the Central Division.

Local broadcasts will air on Vegas 34. Travel days between Games 2 and 3, as well as between Games 3 and 4, provide extra rest for both teams.
