Golden Knights Aim for 3-0 Series Lead in Game 3 Against Avalanche

The Vegas Golden Knights have a chance to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Final when they host the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena. Puck drop is set for 5 p.m. on ESPN.

Vegas swept both games in Denver, winning Game 1 4-2 and Game 2 3-1. The Knights are now two wins away from reaching the Stanley Cup Final.

Jack Eichel broke an 11-game goal drought in Game 2, tying the contest midway through the third period. His goal sparked the Knights to a 3-1 victory at Ball Arena.

The series marks the first playoff meeting between the two teams, and the Knights have dominated early. The Avalanche will look to avoid falling into a 3-0 hole, a deficit from which few teams recover.

Game 4 is scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. at T-Mobile Arena, also on ESPN. If necessary, Game 5 would be Thursday at Ball Arena.
