The Las Vegas Aces held their first training camp practice Sunday at their Henderson headquarters, with the defending WNBA champions welcoming back a roster that largely mirrors the 2025 title-winning squad. Four-time MVP A’ja Wilson was all smiles as she addressed the media, joking with reporters before the session began.
Coach Becky Hammon oversaw drills for the 13-player group, which includes free-agent additions Stephanie Talbot, Brianna Turner, and Chennedy Carter. The Aces also added rookie forwards Janiah Barker and Jordan Obi through the draft. Guard Dana Evans is sidelined indefinitely while rehabbing a left leg injury and did not participate.
Wilson, who led the Aces to their third championship in four seasons, said the team is focused on the work ahead. “We know what the goal is, but we’re taking it day by day,” she told reporters.
