Golden Knights defeat Nashville Predators; Ilya Samsonov late scratch | Golden Knights

The Golden Knights won their sixth straight game with a 3-1 victory over the Nashville Predators on Saturday at Bridgestone Arena.

Reilly Smith scored a go-ahead power-play goal with 13:35 remaining, and center Jack Eichel scored to extend his point streak to six games (six goals, six assists).

Goaltender Adin Hill made 22 saves for his 10th win in his past 12 starts for the Knights (45-20-8), who swept their three-game road trip.

Goaltender Ilya Samsonov, who was supposed to start Saturday, was a late scratch. Hill got the second straight start after making 18 saves Friday in Chicago.

The Knights did not provide an update on Samsonov when requested. The TV broadcast noted he left the bench during the third period.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
