Centennial WR Jayden Thomas picks Minnesota over UNLV, SDSU

Centennial wide receiver Jayden Thomas will take his talents to the Big Ten. The three-star class of 2027 recruit announced his commitment to Minnesota on Sunday via Instagram.

Thomas, a rising senior, chose the Golden Gophers over a final four that included UNLV, San Diego State and California. He had 14 Division I offers, according to 247Sports.

The 6-foot, 175-pound receiver visited Minnesota this weekend before making his decision. He is ranked as the No. 10 class of 2027 recruit by 247Sports.

As a junior in 2025, Thomas led Centennial in receiving with 610 yards and 11 touchdowns on 32 catches. He also contributed to the Bulldogs’ track and field team, helping the 4×100-meter relay win the Class 5A state title on May 16 — a key part of Centennial’s first team state championship since 2017.
