Loa Duarte and Chloe Covington each homered Wednesday to lift third-seeded Shadow Ridge to a 6-2 victory over fourth-seeded Centennial in a 5A Southern League softball elimination game at home. Breanna Nielsen added three hits as the Mustangs controlled the middle innings.
Shadow Ridge advances to face Coronado at 2 p.m. Thursday at Arbor View. The winner of that game takes on Arbor View at 4:30 p.m. in the losers-bracket semifinals.
Coronado 6, Bishop Gorman 3: Bailey Goldberg homered, tripled and drove in two runs for the fifth-seeded Cougars. Caleigh Burns and Chase Magdaleno each had two hits.

Las Vegas 14, SLAM! Nevada 9: Nora Anaya went 2-for-5 with a double and four RBIs for the fourth-seeded Wildcats. Sophia Ortiz added three hits and three RBIs. Las Vegas plays at top-seeded Faith Lutheran at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Foothill 17, Sierra Vista 5: Camren Van Thomme hit a grand slam and drove in four runs for the Falcons. AliAna Edwards also homered and had four RBIs. Foothill plays at top-seeded Legacy at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Spring Valley 3, Clark 2: The Grizzlies scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to win. Spring Valley plays at top-seeded Tech at 4 p.m. Thursday.
Silverado 16, Cimarron-Memorial 6: Leiani Malakaua had two homers, a double and four RBIs. Malia Pacheco went 3-for-4 with a homer, double and two RBIs. Silverado plays Desert Oasis at 4 p.m. Thursday at Bonanza.
