The Las Vegas Raiders have extended rookie minicamp invitations to four players with local ties, including two former UNLV standouts and two Southern Nevada high school products. The camp is expected to begin this week.
Devyn Perkins, a 2020 graduate of Las Vegas High School, joins as a defensive back from Utah Tech. The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Perkins played 41 games across five seasons at Utah Tech, recording 139 tackles and five interceptions, and also spent a season at Southern Utah. He was a four-year starter in football and a 2019 4A state champion in the 4×200-meter relay in track.
Giovanni Iovino, a Bishop Gorman graduate from the class of 2021, played on the Gaels’ 2018 4A state title team. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound linebacker began his college career at Washington State, spent 2023 and 2024 at the University of San Diego, and appeared in 13 games at Hawaii last season, tallying 36 tackles.
UNLV linebacker Marsel McDuffie, listed at 6-foot-1, 245 pounds, was a three-year starter over five seasons with the Rebels. After redshirting in 2021, he finished his UNLV career with 259 tackles. Last season, McDuffie led the team with 112 tackles and earned second-team All-Mountain West honors.
Wide receiver Daejon Reynolds, 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, received an All-Mountain West honorable mention in 2025. In his lone season with the Rebels, he had 33 catches for 471 yards and five touchdowns in 14 appearances. Reynolds previously spent two years at Florida (2021-22) and two at Pittsburgh (2023-24).
