The Vegas Golden Knights and Carolina Hurricanes head into Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Thursday with the series deadlocked at two wins apiece. The puck drops at 5 p.m. at Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
This marks the third time this postseason the Golden Knights have played a Game 5 with the series on the line. They won the previous two such games at home—against the Utah Mammoth and Anaheim Ducks—both in overtime. This time, they must do it on the road in one of the NHL’s loudest venues.
The Hurricanes forced the series back to even with a 5-3 victory in Game 4 at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday. Carolina has home-ice advantage for the pivotal contest.
