Mattress Mack was back in Las Vegas on Thursday night to collect $40 million in winnings from his record $72.6 million in winning wagers on the Houston Astros to win the World Series.
Houston furniture store owner Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale went to Caesars Palace, where he was presented with a check for $30 million for a $3 million bet he placed in May at 10-1 odds at Caesars Sportsbook.
McIngvale, 71, also dropped by Aria to collect his $10 million in winnings for a $2 million wager he placed in July at 5-1 odds at BetMGM.
McIngvale said he collected $10 million in cash at the casino cage at 3 a.m. Friday before flying back to Houston.
